Not surprising that Jack Del Rio is not on this list given that Jacksonville gets zero media coverage. Is this a list of all the coaches with the best players or the best head coach? Del Rio is getting it done without a single pro bowler. Same with Gruden and he's not on here either.

Jay, CA (not from FL)

We could use the current bowls and use the top 32 teams. It would take 5 weeks over the holidays.
For Example:
#1 vs #32 in the Poinsetta Bowl. vs the winner of the Insight Bowl #16 vs #17. Those winners would play in the Chick-fil-A bowl.
At the other end of the bracket, #2 would play #31 in the New Orleans bowl while #15 would play #18 in the Independence bowl. Those two winners would meet in the Music Bowl the next week. So on and so forth. It would be fun.

I agree. I recruited Tim when I was at Florida State. He is a class act and a good Christian.
I think he will win it again and for sure he will play all four years at UF. He is a great role model for today's youth!
Mark McHale
author: "10 to 4" - Brett Favre
Good picks - I haven't seen enough people take Tech over OU. But you bring up a good point that OU's offense, not their defense, has been excellent and Tech can really romp on a porous defense. 41-31 might even be low on the over/under.

Isn't posting a sports "pick & score" score attune to gambling; where a points spread is involved?
Is gambling the same as casting lots?
Why does RBC encourage this practice?

Louisville 115 - Syracuse 0. (This prediction from an increaqsingly impatient and embarrassed fan of the Orange). The time to clean house on Piety Hill is long past due.

I wrote about it in my blog today. Based on some complaints, I'm glad I didn't watch it in real time, given the number of commercials.

I wasn't too impressed with Adam at first...in fact thought maybe he was just not happy about coming to the Pirates and out of spite was going to do lousy. But he has thankfully proved me wrong! I don't know if things just clicked or he got mad at himself for the way he was playing or what, but he is impressive to say the least.

Interestingly I have noticed after attending about 10 games so far this year.......that once a guy is booed by the Pirates fans at a couple games, things turn around. Maybe they are out to prove the fans wrong? I saw it happen with LaRoche.....then Paulino. I hope it happens soon with Arma because heaven knows we have booed him!

How come every year is Torre's best year? He has a $200 million payroll and he has once again run his bullpen into the ground. I think he is legend, but this has not been a good year for him, just because they were written off in May.
